We might not notice this, but our environment has so much of an effect on our mood. If our room is messy, we become in a bad mood, if our room is clean we are in a better mood. I absolutely hate studying with a messy desk, and seeing that I’m a medstudent, I’m studying all day, every day on my desk. If my desk is not organized, it makes it harder to study because I’m worrying about how I need to clean up my desk rather than worrying about how well I need to study. So I found some pictures that will inspire me (and you, hopefully) to create a better working space:
I love fairy lights, and if I can include them in my desk space, then I’m all in!
I love the idea of having the bookshelf right next to the desk, so whenever you need to grab a book, it is right there.
This is my absolute favorite. This helps keep everything you need in one place so you can grab them right away, and I’m definitely going to out to find this
This picture is my favorite, since I love white, it is no surprise. I feel like white spaces are very calm and mellow which is a nice environment to create in your office area.
All I can say is, I NEED that chevron chair in my life. This brings me to an important point, it so important that you actually enjoy using your furniture-your desk, your chair, your lamp etc. Nice furniture lifts up your mood and believe me, helps you study better.
So I was recently watching this video by Blair Fowler who is juicystar07 on YouTube where she added a Coffee and Tea Bar in her kitchen. I don’t know why, a massive, above-average coffee lover like me never thought of that-it really is a genius idea. Basically what she did was add a little spot on her kitchen counter dedicated for making coffee and tea-add different types of coffee/tea, sugar, coffee cups, stirring spoons-all in one space like they do in hotels. I Googled some images for similar at-home bars for some inspiration and here are my favorite ones:
If you have been longing to clean out your fridge, let this be motivational to you. These fridge drawers are life-changing-okay I’m exaggerating, but seriously, they are so easy to use and instantly changes your fridge from looking like a mess to a neat looking fridge-guaranteed. Go and buy some!
Often times, after long days at the school or work, our days need a pick-me-up, and fresh flowers are the perfect way to raise spirits- they add a little extra to the room and make the room smell wonderful. You can virtually put them anywhere in your house, on your vanity, bedside table, dinning table, the possibilities are endless. Adding a vase of flowers just simply lifts my spirits, as I’m sure it does to a lot of people. Here are some of my favorite inspirational images:
Change (n.): The act or instance of making or becoming different.
Why not do something different today? Make a change.
You look at your phone before you sleep, after you wake up, when you’re waiting for that special text *wink*. I don’t know about you, but I get bored of my wallpaper pretty easily and I end up changing it couple time a week. Here are some pretty wallpapers to brighten up your phone.
